Oh Friday, how I love thee! You romance me from the morning light, keep me motivated throughout the day with thoughts of the weekend and I'd just like to kiss you right now! Anybody ever just need a weekend? unplug and relax? Very hard for most of you to do but this weekend I shall conquer such a task! I highly recommend you try to do it too. Unplug the tv, crank up some Beastie Boys (RIP Adam Yauch) and dance your heart out!!! :) Ok, back to reality...Friday work day isn't quite over yet...
This week we launched our very first Boot Camp series. With over 350 energetic members in attendance it's proved to be a valuable tool for newbies as well as seasoned members. Bob's taking us on an 8-week course where each stop is dishing out valuable lessons in everything ActiveRain, blogging, SEO and so much more. Not only are we providing the education but we have different private groups set up for each "team" to get the support they need. Thank you to everyone who is making this Boot Camp series possible! Our hightest blogging day had you guys pumping out 4,210 new blog entries in one day and the highest comment day was 4,706. Not too shabby my peeps, not too shabby. Cathy Bureau had the most pageviews and comments last week with Why Do Realtors® Make Such High Commission? A hot topic amongst you all, highlighted in the Daily Drop and a well written quality content post so congrats to Cathy!
A couple of fun contests ended but with every ending there is a new beginning so be sure to check out May's contests and get involved.
Lots of work on AR's backend is in progress so we thank our IT team for putting in the long hours. Look for a post early next week that will explain some of the changes you'll soon see on AR which will help load time, ranking and other benefits.
