Kerrie's Blog: Success in the Rain

Success in the Rain

Hey everyone, I am coming to you live from RainCamp New Orleans where we are fresh off the Success Panel.  Seems like an appropriate time to talk about Success in the Rain!

The vibe of today's crowd is awesome as usual.  We have some RainCamp Groupies in attendance which always brings a smile to my face.  I heard "This ActiveRain thing really does work" a few times today.  Yes....yes it does!

If you have yet to write your own success story, I urge you to do so.  Simply go to your profile page and click "edit" located next to My Profile (edit). Scroll down until you see the spot designated for your ActiveRain Success Story.  Keep in mind this will not show on your AR profile but will be available to view on the ActiveRain Success Stories link located on our home page.  Not only are all the cool kids doing it but you'll be awarded 500 points!!!

"One of the greatest things about Activerain is the ability of the blogs and info posted here to get to the reading eyes of consumers and fellow professionals within the real estate industry. This happens not only when logging on to Activerain Blogs, but in mainstream searches on Google. This shows the strength of the Activerain websites and channels. The ability to disseminate information to buyers and sellers is a tool I wish I had discovered long ago. Another plus is that seeing the others that have gained success and recognition through Activerain has been inspirational to me, spurring me on to research better, and write more..."

Stephanie McCarty, homes for sale in Gwinnett (RE/MAX Greater Atlanta): Real Estate Agent in Lawrenceville, GA Stephanie McCarty (RE/MAX)
"The BEST real estate resource online! What can ActiveRain do for me you ask? Join and find out. For consumers and professionals I think that this website is a gold mine of valuable information. Experienced professionals willing to share their experiences and training to benefit consumers and other professionals alike. There is literally no other site like it - as I have said before ActiveRain rocks! I continue to be very pleased with my association and I try to contribute as often as possible and thank all of the thousands of agents who have given me plenty to think about with their insightful posts over the years."

Connie Goodrich,CRS ABR (McKinney Realtor)Texas (Keller Williams Realty): Real Estate Agent in Mc Kinney, TX Connie Goodrich (Keller Williams Realty)
"I have had such wonderful experiences from referral opportunities to great networking friendships that extend from coast to coast. I love to hear the answer, ActiveRain, when I inquire from a customer where they got my name. A little research that ActiveRain provided the avenue to reach out the points of my background to my interaction on the blog. Outstanding is how I would rate my experience and paths for business that has unfolded."

Kristen Ueckert (Ueckert Realty LLC): Real Estate Agent in Keller, TX Kristen Ueckert (Ueckert Realty LLC)
"Received a call today from a consumer who said, "I searched online for information on Tres Vistas and your information came up..." OF course, it was my AR blog! Yah-haaaay!"

Ingrid Laine (New American Mortgage): Loan Officer in Virginia Beach, VA Ingrid Laine (New American Mortgage)
"I have just started using my ActiveRain account. I have had it for quite some time now but about 2 weeks ago I decided to begin to use it. WOW! I am really getting some calls and emails! I have already started taking applications! Thanks ActiveRain for this great forum to get our businesses noticed!"

Dustin McClure (Mossy Oak Properties Outdoor Realty): Real Estate Agent in Huntersville, NC Dustin McClure (Mossy Oak Properties Outdoor Realty)
"ActiveRain has been a critical part to the success of my personal team and my brokerage websites. The blog platform is incredibly easy to use and is great to not only promote yourself, but to connect and learn from other Brokers."

Let it Rain my friends....Let it Rain!

Gotta love all the Activerain success stories.  Good for the members and good for Activerain... and good for the consumers who found the members thru Activerain.

Kerrie,

You are one great Community Builder.  (Is that as in "Licensed":  :)  )

Love the Success stories.  I'm off to read right now.

Thank you for the weekly post.  I always learn something from these posts.

I cannot believe that you took the time to do this with RainCamp going on... You are awesome!

Kerri, thank you for talking about mine in this post. I look forward to being more involved. It is so important as an individual broker to market yourself in the best, most effective ways out there. AR has been THE BEST, by far. And since I am also a home office, these members ARE my "office mates" sometimes, giving and getting so much info is a true pleasure. A win-win for me. Enjoy New Orleans. I hope to come to camp soon and say, "Hi," in person.

Kerrie, I'll soon be writing my own AR success story.  I've recently jumped into the AR Referral System to pass along a couple of referrals outside my area.  I don't think I even knew about the area in our profile to post the results.  Thanks for the tip!
