Wordless Wednesday - Alex

My nephew, Alexander Charles, is 2 weeks old today.  He's an angel and I'm going to steal him.

Kerrie- I know a little boy who will be spoiled by one Aunt Kerrie... and why not!  That's what aunts are for!!!  Can't wait to watch Alex as he grows in the Rain.

His parents might not like the idea of you stealing him. Perhaps you could just borrow him for a while.

How sweet!  There's nothing quite like a new relative!

Congrats on the new Nephew Kerrie!!! The great thing about stealing him is you can give him back whenever he gets stinky... kranky....loud.....I am sure you are an awesome aunt!!! :)

Yes, I was going to say you'll steal him but give him back on a regular basis - Stacey covered that nicely in #4.  He is beautiful and I appreciate your Auntie enthusiasm.  Did you give him that bear (that's bigger than he is)?  Very sweet photo.

But he's soooo cute!  Although my sister was saying something about him being up from 9:30 to 2:30am yesterday.  Not my Alex!!!

Kerrie, I can feel you beaming all the way to WISCONSIN!  Remember when your sis came by and helped you with your closet?  It may be your turn to help her out at 2:00 a.m. soon.  Keep your phone close by!  LOL!

Kerrie how cute, I can see why you would want to steal him. Is Alex your first nephew?  Congrats!

Kerrie - You are really fortunate.  You won't need to steal him to have him in your life.  Being his aunt, you fall in a similar category as grandparents.  You can spoil him rotten, but when he cries or poops his pants, you can hand him back to his parents:-)

Kerrie, it was not wise to announce that you were going to steal that little balll of love. Aunt Kerrie will definitely know how to make that little guy smile.

I love the little ones when they sleep so quietly in my arms.  Once awake and smelly..."Grandma, someone wants you!"

I truly believe that when you love them like this when they are little, the intensity of that feeling stays with you.  My 'first born' was a niece when I was 17 . . . she is now 41, and she is as much 'mine' now as she was then . . . truly a precious spirit in my life to this day.  Congratulations . . . and no doubt these people speak from experience - you can love and love and love and love on them - and then give them back!  You look smitten ;)

Kerrie, he looks so cuddly and handsome! Has it been two weeks already? That boy is going to be heading off for school soon. Don't laugh though because the time really does fly by! Blink and he'll be walking and talking. Then off to school and then to his first prom and then wedding bells and by that time you'll be getting older and I'll be dead! Man, it's way too late to be on AR....right? I'm going to bed.

Good night Kerry and good night Alex!

It might be hard to keep him hidden...I am sure they will let you parade him around once awhile when they are operating on no sleep at all! Congratulations to the happy aunt!!!

Oh Kerrie, that's a real precious moment. I can almost feel his tiny little body in my own arms. Your smile is bigger than is whole head! I just know you're going to give your nephew a lot of love and Christmas presents too! Oh, my.... this child is going to be a very spoiled baby boy and he'll always have his Aunt Kerrie to thank!

I have a feeling, that cute teddy bear came from you - am I right? It will be fun to keep taking pictures with Alex and the teddy bear to compare his growth as the weeks and months go by.

There is nothing more precious in this world than new life!

Congratulations Kerrie!

Kerrie - Alexander is so tiny and cute! The best thing about being an aunt - you can spoil them, play with them and treat them to all kinds of things....but you get to go home at the end of the day and sleep - something mommies and daddies don't get to do for a while. You'll be his cool aunt Kerrie! Trust me, my nieces and nephews think that about me - my son, not so much - lol!
