Kerrie's Blog: Screw you Kim Kardashian!

Screw you Kim Kardashian!

72 days....really?  72 days?  How the heck can someone stand up and say I'll take you forever until the day I die and then 72 days later think "Eh, it's not working.  Divorce time."????

I am, or should I say was a big Kim K fan.  I thought she was so very beautiful, loved her style and how close she is with her family.  Well don't I feel dumb.

Kim and Kris made something like 18 million from their wedding and photo spread in People.  They didn't pay one red cent for anything at their wedding including 3 Vera Wang gowns, champagne, food, flowers, venue....I could go on and on.

Was this a flippin ploy to make cash?  Did Kim find out Kris had a weird mole somewhere and she decided she couldn't hang anymore?  Did he tell her that she looked fat in that dress and that was it?  How the heck does the sanctity of marriage get lost here.  What a joke.  There are millions of people that are fighting for the right to get married and can't.  And then this chick does it for a cool couple of million?  Does't she already have enough money?

I am so mad it makes my blood boil.  I will no longer ever watch any of their shows or buy any magazines with them on it.  I may be wrong here, maybe he cheated or did something totally unforgivable....but to say I will take you for better or for worse and then give up after 72 days is SO WRONG!  Play your little Hollywood games and do what you gotta do but do not take the fact that you can get married for granted when so many can't.  Not cool Kim, not cool.

Oh my gosh!  Your post is fabulous!  Its everything I've been thinking.. but won't say.  Thanks for sharing!

I think most of us are realizing that you are quite correct.  Everything is done for the money.

Kerrie, thanks for saying what we all want to say! I feel the same....CANCELL THEIR SHOW AND FAME!

I am sick of these shows being such money making scams, and we the honest ones are getting screwed. I hope her butt gets bigger for all the deception she gave to her fans.

Money remains a cheap reward when one focuses on it obsessively. How about sharing character, principals, success stories and morals? Money comes and goes...its the people that handle it that I find interesting and at times disappointed..as your post describes..good one little Kerrie

Kerrie, I am glad to see that you wised up.  The entire family reality baloney was just a ploy to make money.  She may look pretty, but I don't put to much stalk into outside appearences.  Inside she is so full of herself.  NOthing attractive int that!

That's a helluva rant Kerrie.... and a very valid one at that. I'm with you all the way on this one.

Kerrie - the Kardashians aren't living in the real world and the second something isn't perfect they bail. They don't know how to be happy because they have so much just given their bar just gets raised. They make money off their bad, and outrageous behavior. I love that you posted about this and I'm sure there are a lot of people who are thinking what you said! I'll be back to see the comments say - should be interesting!

Kerrie, I couldn't agree with you more! I was a big fan of Kim K, but once she got engaged, right away it all seemed like it was a set up. A made for tv movie.

But...But...But... they gave the marriage all they had...it just didn't work out. So... So... you just leave poor Kim alone. I see another sex tape in the future...along with a "special" on why the marriage is over.

And to think there is a 19 yr old Marine or Army private sitting on the wire in Afghanistan tonight (guard duty) wondering if he'll see the next sunrise... a pox on her house.

Kerrie I agree with you... Though I stopped watching the show a while back... They have become way to ridiculous... The only thing I see that Kris did wrong was not surrender his balls to the mother in law.... Just sayin....

Hi Kerrie - Sometimes there is a great advantage to being an out-of-touch old fart - I have absolutely no idea who these people are. I know they're out there, because I see names as I flip through my channel guide, but I'm grateful I've resisted the temptation, faint though it was, to get a better look.

Kerrie, I'm not a follower of that crap, and did see that she was filing. They must have fallen off some celebrity list and feel this is necessary to get back on. If only the press would ignore them, and let them get a real taste of reality. Don't hold back!

Kerrie, even I managed to stay married for more than 72 days - both times!  I've sort of noticed that the size of the wedding winds up predicting, in reverse, hte length of the marriage.  So next time, it's tiny wedding.

Posted by Patricia Kennedy, Home in the Capital (RLAH Real Estate) almost 7 years ago

She was probably just in it for the money.  The several million they received was a great motivator.  She makes it 72 days while its illegal for others who have been together for decades.  I read somewhere that she should be pressured to donate some of that $18 million to fight for marriage equality for everyone.

Hey Kerrie, I wonder if it will spill over to her brothers chances on dancing with the stars. So Here is a story for you,

A goose was sitting down by the water when a snake crawled up and asked for a ride to the other side of the river. The goose said , you are a snake and you will bite me and kill me. The snake said, I cannot swim so if I bite you we will both die. The goose thought for a moment and said ok. Half way across the river the snake bit the goose. The goose turned horrified and with a gasp said why??? you have killed us both !!! The snake looked sadly at the goose and said, After all I am a snake. In this case snake begins with a K

Kerrie, sadly, the more famous, the more likely you will not take the "M" word seriously, it seems. There are so few couples who manage to make it look like it's meant to be "for life". Iman and David Bowie currently come to mind, but more in the past--Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward.

I just thought it was ridiculous and also wasn't the least bit surprised.

Kerrie,  I have watched the show a couple of times but more recently when Kim was planning her wedding.  I quess because of how fairy tale and lavish the planning was.  I had a feeling this marriage would not last but heck less than three months.  I wonder if she even had time to send out thank you cards for the wedding gifts.

Kerrie... way to go to give it to this little disingenuous brat... Kim Kardashian.  So many of our sisters and brothers are being denied the right to marry the loved one of their choice, and this goof pours dirt on what should be a very loving time for both her and Kris.

And... I was just cruising along... reading the comments and anticipating enjoying them... until I got to Comment Number 4.

Richie Naggar calls you "little Kerrie."  Little Kerrie my patootie !  A little too condescending... perhaps ?  I think you should give him a swift girlie-soccer-kick right in his fanny, or in any other place of your choosing.  Little Kerrie... yeah, right !

Hmm, I don't really pay attention to her and I was never really impressed at all.  In fact, had no idea she was getting divorced and barely knew she got married.  Apparently she is a shallow, money grubbing hollywood starlet who gets everything handed to her on a silver platter.  Marriage is actually work, so it doesn't surprise me that it only lasted so long.

Kerrie- as they say, Kerrie, business is business and that's what it appeared to be to me.  I have not been a Kardashian fan but then again, I have a problem with people who "become" celebrities for no other reason than who their father or other relative may have been.  I don't know what the latest status of the ring is but I heard her mother say (when asked about Chris wanting the ring back)  she never liked Indian givers.  I would be embarrassed to keep the ring in that situation.

You solved the mystery question for me!  I couldn't figure out how anyone could afford to pay for a lavish wedding that would only last 72 days....THEY DIDN'T!  I must be living under a rock.  I had no idea that someone - even a famous someone - could get other people to pay such exhorbitant amounts of money for a wedding, and a fake one at that!

Posted by Wendy Cutrufelli, Contra Costa Realtor (Alain Pinel Realtors) almost 7 years ago

So, did anyone think it was going to be a lasting, or long-term marriage? These people are not real, and our adulation of them make them less so. Ignore them -- there are so many good people with whom to be impressed.

Not the shortest celebrity wedding in history but perhaps the one that makes our blood boil the most.  I just had two friends who fought for the right to get married after being together for 24 years.  They had a lovely ceremony in DC a few weeks ago and have stayed together through more stuggles than most married straight people have ever faced.  The Kardashians can stuff it where the sun don't shine...opps did I say that?

HA! Way to go, but next time make sure you tell me how you REALLY feel, LOL.

She is a spoiled, ungrateful brat who makes money off of her behavior. OK, I don't know her off screen but the whole thing reeks of money.

But next time, please... don't hold back!

PS, I thought the whole wedding was a farce, and no, I don't watch her. I think I saw the show once and thought the Osborne's were way way way more interesting, LOL. And I didn't even like that show either!

Kerrie, We already shouldn't have known who she was.  Between her and Paris Hilton we've got a pair that are famous only for being famous, not for anything constructive they've ever done.  Throw in a bunch of the other "reality" TV stars and we've got a problem with really poor role models for the kids.  Bill

Girl, I'm not saying this because I think I'm smarter than you. Unfortunately, I dont treat celebrities very well. I treat them as a form of entertainment. Including her "Till death do us part".

She spent $10M on her wedding. How much did she make from Reality TV, or continue to create because of her little plot? What would be cool would be becoming pregnant. Then it could at least last 9 mths to hold viewers' suspense of whom the dad is.

Would that make a great season? I would think so.
