Yesterday was a bit of a nail biting morning behind the scenes. Armed with Grande lattes we had visuals of our set-up, diagrams, headphones, extra help, all hands on deck, twitter a buzzing, and fingers crossed that nothing would crash. And 3 1/2 hours later we said our last goodbyes to over 1,600 attendees while sounds of high fives filled the room. The LARGEST RainCamp in history ladies and gentlemen, a hot line-up of 4 Avengers bringing you everything Social Media.
What do Avengers do? They fight to save you from wasting your precious time and efforts on anything less than stellar, trusted and true. Safely fall into the arms of any one of our Avengers and you were sure to walk away unscathed and safe from evil ineffective media ways!
Scott Stratten, Iron Man - A colorful character who didn't sugarcoat a thing; he let us know exactly what not to do and why. Agree or not but this guy wasn't named one of the top 5 social media influencers in the world on Forbes.com for nothing!
Ben Kinney, Thor - Brought the hammer once again and showed us how to use the internet in a practical way and make sure we always remembered our goal was to earn a click and generate a lead.
Chris Smith, Captain America - Never to fail, Chris is informed on even the newest topics such as Pinterest. The dynamics of the fast growing site were alarming. If you're not pinning your real estate inventory you're missing out on a huge traffic opportunity.
Bob Stewart, The Hulk - With his mighty mind he ripped through the ins and outs of Google+ with a force to be reckoned with. The love/hate relationship is what it is but we all know Google isn't going anywhere anytime soon so you better get on board with Google+.
For everyone that registered don't fret, the recording of these brilliant presentations will be yours in the coming days. Share them with your circles, colleagues and associates.
And what goes better with RainCamp than a good ole fashioned MeetUp! A wonderful end to a successful RainCamp was perfect for us as we met some locals at a quiet Irish Pub in Kirkland. A very, very big THANK YOU to those who hosted, attended and made the MeetUps around the US and Canada possible. My heart is full reading all the posts filled with pictures of happy 'Rainers. You've left imprints on our lives.
It's a little bittersweet, I'm not going to lie. Much preparation goes into putting these events together and then wam! bam! it's over. This is exactly why I don't cook.
Now I want to make sure that ANYONE and EVERYONE that is interested in a clearly outlined, fast-track guide to everything ActiveRain, blogging, SEO and beyond signs up for Boot Camp. A free 8-week course that will get your blogging and butt in shape! I don't want anyone missing out on this!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone....thank you for all your continued support of ActiveRain! Lots of love around here this week!

Kerrie, I was curshed that I did not get to attend Camp. I was registered and marked off the time and we had horrible tech issues and email actually down for two days in a big change over. I have been a wreck - so jealous of not being able to be there.
Kerrie, you all did a great job. I had a million interruptions, but I enjoyed what I heard. Thanks for offering RC.
Kerrie,
I registered but had an appointment. I'm glad it was recorded. Thanks.
Everyone did a bang up job! Thank you to everyone "behind the scenes" for your hard work. ♥
Hi Kerrie, I truly enjoyed listening to all four Avengers on Rain Camp. Lots of Great information. Looking forward to receiving a recorded tape too. We also had a Great Meet Up in San Antonio, TX later yesterday afternoon. We are certainly "Making History".
Have a Nice Weekend!
It was the best Real Estate information, if you missed it, you missed out on Real Estate information that jolts Realtors to the top... Thanks again..
I am so upset I was not able to attend!!! I had a class I was in and it was mandatory. Timing is everything.
I was there and you all were great! Thank you!
Kerrie, sounds like all the prep and speakers were ready and if that old technology thing didn't fail you good to go. I look forward to the recordings. Let us know the links when you have that set up. Thanks.
Carrie, a big thank you to everyone who helped make Rain Camp the excellent program it was. I'm sure it's much harder to pull off than we can imagine. All the speakers were very good with lots of helpful info. Thanks again and have a great weekend!
You my dear Kerrie ... SUPERWOMAN!! Thank You..
I missed the end of RainCamp, but i will ge happy to have the recording soon!
Kerrie, I missed the first session so I'm happy to hear we'll get the recording. The rest of the event was stellar. Can't wait 'til the next one.
Kerrie... It was a great event this morning! Thank you all at Activerain for making this happen!!!
It really was a great event and I'm so glad many of you were in attendance! It's Friday afternoon and I am ready for the weekend! Heading up to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival this weekend for some beautiful sights. Enjoy yours too!
Kerrie, I was able to catch most of it and even though I had heard some of it before on webinars it was a great refresh on the topics. Really happy that AR did this for all of us. THANKS!
Hi Kerrie -
We tuned in an enjoyed. I must say there was much multi-tasking going on but I have several pages of notes. Good job as always! Have a great weekend my friend.
Kerrie The Gucci Guy was upset that I wasnt able to get on. But I was able to listen to some of it when I called in. Plus I am going to get a copy of the recording so I am not that mad anymore. Thank you and the Active Rain Staff for always trying to help us grow our business.
Kerrie-
I dug-in. Turned my phone off and stayed with it for the 3 plus hours. I learned enough in the 3 hours to keep busy implementing for months.
Well organized and professionally presented.
Next stop Bootcamp.
Hi Kerrie, enjoyed RainCamp and particularly Scott Stratten-he told it like it is and I learned a lot from both him and from Bob Stewart.
I'll need to listen to the recordings as I was interviewing my new assistant at that time, and didnt expect us to talk so long.
I can not say THANK YOU enough to ActiveRain and the sponsors. Plus you'll finally got to New Mexico using the tools we at ActiveRain excel at best... being online and making a difference for each other.
Kerrie, I heard that the speakers were pretty good. I'm happy that it was recorded, so I can check it out when I get the email link.
Hi Kerrie, I did get to tune in and caught most of it, but am still a social novice
Hi Kerrie - It was a great RainCamp. Unfortunately, I had to leave part way through Bob's presentation because I had to drive across Toronto to get to the Meetup.
Kerrie, The AR Powers that be have a lot to be proud of. RainCamp was AMAZING! It is worth blocking off one's calendar just like any other appointment and attending! Thanks AR for all that you do to make this community as powerful as it is.
Kerrie, congratulations, that's definitely a huge success! I wasn't able to attend this time because I've been helping two sets of customers find their new homes... work does get in the way sometimes. Hopefully, I will be able to attend a future one!
Hi Kerrie,
I blocked the entire morning out and luckily got to listen to all the trainers. It was wonderful and cannot say I enjoyed one more than another. They all had different materials and lots of great info to help us benefit from being there.
I like Bob Stewart's talk on Google+ as I had been having some issues with my posts not showing up or if they did, it just had an ActiveRain disclosure instead. I had been emailing Bob and I think he has it fixed now. So when he was saying he hated Google+ that said Love it; I could relate.
I already signed up for the 8 week course on line too. Thanks to you Kerrie and all the other AR staff members for giving us such an awesome Raincamp adventure.
It was an awesome presentation and well worth attending. Thanks to everyone who put it together for our benefit.
Enjoy your weekend and don't forget to take your camera!
Good evening, Kerrie. Hopefully the next one. If you only knew how busy I have been runnig 3 businesses! I am so glad that this last event has been so fruitful for you...
I had registered but had out of state buyers come in and had to show properties.. Sorry I missed it.
Kerrie, you clearly deserve a huge gigantic raise! Good work, and sorry I was too crazed to arrange a DC meet up!
Kerrie fantastic job as usually, a lot of multi-tasking but I did find the session informative.
Thanks to staff and special guests.
I was totally stoked about Raincamp but now have to hear it in reruns as being in the now OFFICIALLY rated best Real Estate Market east of the Mississippi as announced this week, business got in the way of my raincamp time.
Thanks for making this webinar available, Kerrie - despite my best attempts, I could attend just one session so will wait for an announcement about the recroding made available. Thanks a lot, once again.
Kerrie..so sorry I had a family conflict. I am wondering it rain camp was recorded.. If, so please let us know where we can access all of the information.
Thank you and all of the presenters for making this Rain Camp a great source of information.
Kerrie, my schedule did not permit me to attent RainCamp, een though I was registered. It was frustrating knowin gi twas going on but not being able to listen in! Glad it was such a huge success. I knew it would be :)
Sharon
Kerrie - That is great to hear. You guys did an awesome job and I learned a lot. So glad to hear about record attendance.
I can't wait to hear the recording. . I will put it in my calendar to take teh time and listen. .
Enjoyed it, and still learning collateral info by visiting the various websites mentioned during RainCamp. Many thank to Margaret Rome, our Baltimore meet-up hostess, and to everyone at AR for making this a great program.
Hi Kerrie,
The event was successful. Thanks for your part in making it so.
Now if I could figure out how to get on Pinterest!
Phil
Kerrie ~ Having the ins and outs, ups and downs and knowing what to do and not to do was invaluable. There were a few things in camp that I had wondered about but was pleasantly surprised by what the Avengers passed along. I have already made a couple of adjustments to how I do things online and others I have implemented with the confidence knowing that these guys paved the way. Awesome!
Kerrie ~ Okay, that's one thing I need to work on... making sure I'm logged in before commenting. :)

Sounds like a great time Kerrie!
Kerrie, sounded like a great event and a lot of good information was passed along. As always, Good Job!
The greats exercising their muscles and sharing their gifts...The rain fell well
Kerrie, you and everyone involved did a fabulous job. I was a little concerned about being at my computer for 3 1/2 hours, but there was so much pertinent information and it was so well presented that the time just flew by. I am looking forward to getting the slides so I can see what I missed in my notes. Really great job. So happy I was able to take part.
Hi Kerrie,m I tuned in and was glad I did. The time went by fast because it all was so interesting.
Kerrie- some great stuff, I enjoyed every minute of it and look forward to the following weeks
Yes Raincamp was great! I enjoyed it. And our meet up afterward was good. I'll blog about it later.
Hey Kerrie!
RainCamp was AWESOME! What a great use of 3 hours of time. Thanks again for encouraging me to post my "Letters from (Rain) Camp Parts 1 & 2". http://activerain.com/blogsview/3178539/my-day-at-rain-camp-part-1 and http://activerain.com/blogsview/3182115/letters-from-rain-camp-part-2
I hope to have my 3rd letter "Ricky Goes to RainCamp" posted tonight with all of my notes from our third "Super Social Hero", Captain America - Chris Smith from Inman Next! Cheers and thanks again for a GREAT event!
I was able to listen in on the first hour, but had to attend a meeting shortly afterwards. So, I missed most of Ben Kinney and anyone after him. Sounds like a good turnout and event though.
Kerrie -- I am SO looking forward to hearing the recording. The reviews of the camp are phenomenal...best I've heard! You are all to be commended for providing such a great lineup of presenters and topics!
This is the first I've heard of this year's RainCamp.
It doesn't seem that this one was marketed as much as previous years...
Wonderful Time!
Thank you all for the insights and the nuggets of information!
Pleased to participate with hashtag Tweets of #raincamp from the sidelines!

Was a great 3 + hours, I listened in and cheated a little while I handled some other business knowing I could sit and listen to the recording in the future, even signed up for the "Bootcamp" starting next week! I can can use the help on blogging , but not sure how this will get my "butt in shape"...your words!
Steven, in the comment up above mine, you might not should have put that pic in there. I understand what you're saying, but the pic isn't right.
This was the first time I had to miss Raincamp. Was sorry I couldn't be there!
Kerrie, Had an awesome time on the online raincamp, so much great information to take action on. After went over to my first activerain meetup, and made some new friends.
Thanks for summary, Kerrie. It was my first Raincamp. I have lots to learn and absorb. Thank you for organizing such an educational event!
Kerrie,
You are so appreciated. Even though I wasn't there, I was with you all in spirit. You make ActiveRain very special and you light up our world.
Thanks Kerrie for all that you do. Your article was fantastic!
Patricia
Kerrie,
Rain Camp was fantastic as always! I went to the one in San Francisco way way back and it was fun but I'm sure now it would be even more fun but it's really hard to get away so I really appreciated the webinar versions. I loved both meet ups I attended too!
I can imagine your melancholy feeling! That's how I feel about Christmas!
" Much preparation goes into putting these events together and then wam! bam! it's over. This is exactly why I don't cook." So that's the reason! What a great explanation!
Miss Rome - I'm always in amazement at the time and love put into many meals I enjoy. My loved ones spend so much time preparing and then we're done in 5 minutes. Crazy!!
Kerrie,
I just came home from The Avengers and found your post. True, RainCamp was amazing. I love how you described each Avenger with our real life heros! Now, does this mean that you are the Black Widow? lol You really are amazing!
Go Red Team!
