Kerrie's Blog: Wordless Wednesday - Times They Are a Changing

Wordless Wednesday - Times They Are a Changing

It's a whole new game out there folks.  On our way to Sun Lakes the other weekend we stopped by Subway in some small town for a quick bite.  5 young girls in pink cowboy hats on their way to a concert at the Gorge got out of this car next to us and I noticed their car detail.  No longer do the young-ins need to wonder who the cute boy or girl is in the car next to them.  They can just tweet it!! *shaking my head*

I wonder if they erase "Get Drunk" before returning the car to Mommy and Daddy....

oh my Abigail would still get spankin' for that.  I'd whack her with my wooden spoon.  And she pays for her own car.  Of course I think that pulling mangled and broken bodies out of wrecked cars for two years now has changed her whole attitude about appropriate time and place for cocktails.  Oh I'm so glad social media hadn't been invented yet when I was a girl.  There is no proof at all.

Yes Kerrie, I wondered about kids hooking up on the highway like that.  Sign of the times!  Hopefully they arrived back at their parents safe and sound!

I guess it's OK to be young and do stupid stuff.  Aren't we supposed to do that when we're young?  As long as they don't get into trouble, I hope they had a good time.

Hi Kerrie - Mary & I have been to the gorge for a couple of concerts, but they were for a different demographic, but also one which enjoyed adult beverages.

Love the Gorge as a concert venue, don't love seeing these messages on a car window. Good golly - at least I hope they stayed safe. Dumb, dumb, dumb. Shaking my head too.

You're right, Kerrie. Younger people today don't seem to care at all what messages they are sending to the world about themselves... hope these girls got home safe and sound.

Kerrie~ Seems like they are asking for trouble to me.  The times are a changing and I don't think I like it.

Kerrie, I still don't understand when girls put pom pons in the back windows of their cars, or bunper stickers that scream "I'm a girl's car!" Doesn't this just highlight them for creeps out there?!?

My future daughters better be good, I know all the tricks in the book so nothing is going to get by me! *fingers crossed

Kerrie, Maybe we as agents could learn from these girls.(No I do not approve of what they are doing!) But it might be an idea for agents to explore! Maybe on a license plate frame.

Kerrie...

I wonder if these young ladies gave any thought at all to personal safety? Oh well, I guess I'm just an old fogey!

Hmmm, we must be ever vigilant when lending the car to the teens lol :)!  Get drunk huh?!  Hopefully they were sober enough to get rid of the ole evidence lol :)!

They Certainly give the police offer ample reason to pull them over to see if they are drunk. Yikes!

Let's just hope when they are getting 'drunk' they are not driving that car!!  But that's funny (and creative).  Wish you could have joined us last night here in San Antonio at the Meet up Or Mixer!  Would have been great.   Will see you on the Webinar today with a group of KW agents that are probably not AR'rs yet!! (key word here is YET)

the post made me smile. As long as they are not driving drunk and hanging out together having fun it is cool
