Kerrie's Blog: We Will Never Forget

We Will Never Forget

We will never forget.  My heart aches for those who lost a loved one.  My heart aches for the innocent victims.  My heart aches for the heroes who died trying to save others.  My heart aches.

The lives of every American changed on that day when the cowardly terrorists attacked the United States. Shame on anyone who doesn't remember that day.

Amen Kerrie.  Lest none of us ever forgets that freedom is never free.  So many have lost their lives for freedom and many have paid the price dearly.

Many lost their lives  because of this senseless tragedy and families and friends were left behind to endure the pain forever.  We pray for them, we will never forget, we go on.

Kerrie, in the 2 weeks after, I wrestled with the decision of joining the military. I chose not to, but only because I had 2 daughters and another on the way.

Call it personal, call it history, call it healing, but today did not start until after 9 AM.  I watched the news and shared in moments of silence and prayer.  Just a personal few minutes in reflection.

Kerrie, the photo is a wonderful tribute.  I think many of us remember where we werethat day.  I was at work, but found a TV that had cable access.  I turned the TV on and immediately saw the first tower go down....
