Kerrie's Blog: A Rainy Seattle Spring MeetUp

A Rainy Seattle Spring MeetUp

This morning I rose a bit earlier than usual to head out and meet some friendly faces.  Charles Buell and René Fabre were kind enough to host the Seattle breakfast MeetUp.  We feasted over eggs, coffee and juice while discussing everything AR and beyond.

Charles was there first getting our tables organized and René was stuck in traffic.  If you think of a typical Seattle day, today fits right in.  Rainy and gray with puddles covering the streets.  Ahhh Seattle...gotta love it.

Mugs of joe and a veggie scramble doused in the green tabasco was my choice this am.  Never red, always green.  Charlie was quite famished and finished his breakfast in no time, a simple man, no special sauces needed for him.

Jon showed up in his Mariners gear...and I constrained myself...after all, we can't ALL be Yankee fans and we are in Seattle.  Paul was sharing success stories and how funny it is that readers stalk you through your blogs and then when they finally pick up the phone and ring you, they start off by saying how they feel they know you.  Blogging:  yet another way to humanize yourself!  Dan is an avid Star Trek fan I learned, something I know nothing about but enjoyed hearing his passion.

We really had a dream team at our MeetUp, a coach, agent, inspector, title guy and loan officer....the Seattle Studs.  Watch out world, they're taking over!

René Fabre, Jon Olsen, Dan Tabit, myself, Michelle Leslie, Paul McFadden, Charles Buell and Kris Neese.

Looks like you had a nice time! Our meetup is this afternoon - after a big blizzard in CO yesterday we are hoping our turnout will still be high!

Looks very cozy.  I am hoping we get a good turnout but like Erin says, the weather is not cooperating with us this week.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

The Seattle Studs look like a great group for an AR meetup! We had the best gathering yesterday.

Kerrie, Thanks for organizing us all.

You all look amazing, not a frowny face in the bunch! Don't mind the weather, many parts of the country are getting snow again.

Wonderful group.  I know them well.   Or, I know their names.  Breadfast is a good time for a MeetUp except for traffic around here.

What a great looking group!!  If only joining in on the Seattle MeetUp didn't mean having to DRIVE to Seattle at the crack of dawn - sigh.  One of these times I will 'cause it always looks like such fun!

A great mix of people and conversation topics ... sounds like my kind of ActiveRain Meetup :)  Plus, someone else who likes spicy, green Tabasco on eggs ... yummy, yes?

Ours is tomorrow for lunch, Kerrie ... I'm looking forward to it!

Howdy Kerrie, that's a good looking group of characters, glad you had a successful AR meet-up, we also had our and enjoyed the same weather as you but Dorie made it pleasant and she just posted her blog, check it out.

Have a beautiful week and thanks for organizing a great event, you should also offer points for those who go out of town and meet at other cities? just a thought. It was wonderful networking and putting real body's with those AR faces.....lol

Is there ever a sunny Seattle meet-up? Rain or shine, having a good cup of coffee and breakfast with friends is my favorite!

Not familiar with any, except you Kerrie, but these meet-ups sound delightful and a breakfast one sounds totally unique!

Kerrie, you had a fine looking group, and so appropriate that your shirt shows an anchor, as that is certainly the role you have for so many of us here in the Rain

Kerrie,  That's a nice lineup!  People who do not attend Meetups just don't know what they are missing.  There is not other group of real estate professionals that I would want to hang out with.  AR Rocks!

Oh, Kerrie!  I can see sunshine coming through that plate glass window in the background.  You all make up that rain in Seattle story so people heistate to move there.  Every time I visit, the weather is glorious.

Hi Kerrie,

It was a good meet-up. I was glad to finally meet you in person. René and I had met before, Charles & Paul I knew through their blogs.   I'm looking forward to the next one, and we're all ready to go to work for you when you're ready!

Neat bunch. Stuck in traffic...ha. My commute to work is 32 feet. Every real estate market so different. Breakfast meetings are great, early morning my favorite time of the day and most productive.
