Kerrie's Blog: Wordless Wednesday - Umm...Ma?

Wordless Wednesday - Umm...Ma?

When we visited Europe 2 years ago, my Mom insisted on the famous "pushing down the tower" picture.  She took the pic and said it looked like I was pushing it mom?  And this was the best one!!  Haha, gotta love her!

I guess it wasn't as bad as the one she had my Dad do...

Never underestimate the power of Kerrie.

What a wonderful trip that must have been.  And we think a 250 year old property is old.

I once told a buyer that the house they send me to tour was 200 years old and might take some upgrading.  He said, "Lenn.  We just sold a 750 year old home in London."

No you look like you are applying the right physics to keep it in place. Now your Dad however needs a little engineering lesson. LOL

Good afternoon Kerrie.  Ya know Ma's just seem to have a way of getting us to pose in ways we would never other wise think of doing :)  What would we do without em?!  Memories for a lifetime.

Hi Kerrie, a very cute post and I do like your picture better than your Dad's picture.  It is great to share pictures of fun and amazing trips and I look forward to going to Europe one day.  It is on my to-do list!

Kerrie, OK if that were me I would want to take the Macho shot.  A shot holding the tower up :)

Yeah, contrary to the rest, I think that if it were up to you and your dad, that thing would never fall over.

I love traveling. I was at the leaning tower many years ago. Seems that it looks the same now as it did then. I only hope to get back there soon. Maybe you can keep holding it up until we get there???

Love it!!  And I bet every time you look at those pictures, you smile with the happy memories of that trip!

It is the stories behind the pictures that are so special at times.  You will remember that experience, with your mom for a really long time. . .It doesn't get any better than that!

I suspect it is why I have always had an interest in photography.  I am always trying to freeze special moments in time.

Universal studios in Orlando has the exact spot marked for everyone to stand on and where the pic needs to be taken from so the pic works.  Might want to practice some before attempting this again.

What a blessing that you got to have this trip with your parents!  This will be a memory that will be re-told for years...and you have the photos to prove it!  I am guessing there will be lots of giggles!

and in your mom's defense...the perspective is different in that little screen on the back of the camera... ;)

Kerrie, George has a point, it would have been a better shot if you or your Dad were trying to straighten up the tower and put some effort into it

You look a lot better than I did! My daughter took me there and made me push it too. I looked ridiculous! But I enjoyed the trip! Isn't Italy the best! I want to go back there ASAP!

I hope you get to travel all around the world or at least to all the places you really want to go with the ones you love. Memories are cherished forever!

I still want to see Paris.
