Kerrie's Blog: Wordless Wednesday - Crossing the Finish Line

Wordless Wednesday - Crossing the Finish Line

Here is my incredible wife crossing the finish line of her 2nd 1/2 marathon this past Sunday.  Words cannot express how proud I am of her and all she accomplishes in life.

Great job and you should be very proud.  Now do you run also?

I've never been a runner, but my daughter  has run a marathon.  There are no words to express the pride and emotion you feel when they cross that line.

I give anyone who can do this a lot of credit.

3-4 miles was always the max for me.

You have every right to be proud of her, that is an amazing accomplishment. Having done two marathons, I have a reference point. Congratulate her for me.

Awesome accomplishment and congratulations to anyone who can do this. I can just imagine the emotions and feelings involved in crossing a marathon finishing line. Our family is contemplating and beginning to arrange a trip to Rome, Italy for March 2015. There are 2 events -the Rome Marathons: the 26 mile Maratona di Roma and the 4 mile Rome Fun-Run-Walk Marathon. I am going for the latter:)

Hey I know how tough that is and what an accomplishment! My wife did a marathon in 38 degree rain one year. Worst weather ever for a marathon in CO!

Congrats on that great accomplishment for her, that is about half a marathon more than I could do.

That is incredible.  I have ran all the way from 440 yds to 1/2 marathons.  I attempted the Miami Marathon in 1983 and that was teh only distance I did not finish.

I vowed that one day I will go back and complete just 1.
